We hope you’re doing well, and that the winter isn’t too tough. Getting out on a very cold winter’s day is no fun. Even getting out of your warm car to head into Alima’s can be a chore. So why not order curbside service?
We introduced our curbside service during the Pandemic; it was so useful then, and now customers are finding it even more convenient.
How does it work?
Go online to www.alimascurbside.ca (or www.pickupalimas.ca)
Select the items you want and check out. Please remember to use a valid email address.
(Your credit card information is not stored by Alima’s but in highly secure Shopify Servers and it’s encrypted).
You will get an email confirming your order, and it will give you the pickup time, an order number, and a special call-in telephone number.
The email will also show you where the curbside pickup area is. It is on the East side of the building.
When you arrive and park in the appropriate area, call the number that is provided in your email; you will be asked for your order number and name, and the type and color of vehicle you are driving.
A member of staff will then bring your order out to your car. You do not have to get out of the vehicle. The staff member will deliver your order through your window, on the back seat, or in your trunk; as you wish.
You will enjoy the service; you’ll avoid the cold, and you’ll avoid any lineups in the store.
Remember not to use the regular Alima’s telephone number. This will delay your service considerably.
A couple of things to note about Alima’s curbside service: There is a one-hour lead time before you can pick up an order. The system will not allow a pick-up time before an hour. Please do not arrive before your scheduled pickup time. Also, for inventory control purposes the system allows for orders for Today and Tomorrow only.
